The William L. Silver Jr. Scholarship was established in 2023 and honors the lifelong service, educational leadership, and community impact of William “Bill” Silver, founding President of the Saraland City School System Board of Education from its inception in 2006 until his passing in 2023
This scholarship recognizes graduating students who demonstrate leadership, academic dedication, character, service to others, and commitment to personal growth both inside and outside the classroom.
